Why is gratitude so important?

At the end of the journey, things we find valuable are often not objects but formlessness. Happiness doesn't always have to be about having some, but how we are grateful for the things we have experienced. By understand this concept, then we will never be disappointed. Gratitude can help us to build and maintain relationships, life satisfaction, resulting in hope, and more proactive behaviors toward others. Gratitude turns what little we have into abundance.

How to feel grateful after travelling?

We sometimes forget to be grateful after traveling because we are carried away by pleasure or feel so tired after the holiday. Actually to be grateful, we just need to say thank you for what we have today, as simple as saying a little pray. For some reasons, gratitude helps people feel more positive, relish good experiences, improve health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships. Here are some ways to be grateful after travelling.

One of the best ways to do after travelling is to journaling. It can be an effective way to gain a better understanding of our thoughts and emotions. Beside that, it's also strengthen our memory and has ton of benefits for mental and physical health. We can write about our trip and focusing on the positive experiences, people we met and the lessons we learned. Review photos that we already took from the trip and thankful for the journey that we had experienced because not everybody stand a chance to make a trip.

What is ours will always belongs to us. Share some happiness we got from travelling like giving souvenir to our family or friends who are less fortunate than us will back to us as small things that we never expect for. We don't have to worry about lack of material, because if we do good to people, then the universe is watching and will count it as our good seed. Same as travel, what we take from nature we should return, this also applies when we feed animals, then the feeling of gratitude will arise by itself for our good of emotional well-being.
